Dune du Pilat is, in my opinion, one of the best sights if you are in the Bordeaux area. Right by the Atlantic coast, it is the perfect starting point for a day at the ocean.
Aka staying in a proper castle with a moat! Yes, you heard that right. After my family and I shattered our eardrums at the Rammstein concert in Paris (it was amazing, thanks for asking) my mom and I went to Bordeaux for a couple of days to rest and recuperate. There, we stayed at the […]
There are many things to do and sights to see in Beijing. So many in fact, that you’ll likely need several trips (or months) to see them all.

Besides the Forbidden City, there is plenty more to see and do in Beijing. One of my favourite historic sites is the Temple of Heaven, a sprawling park with beautiful historic buildings and the aforementioned temple.
Packing basically all of my skincare when I left for Beijing, meant, that I ended up with a ton of empties. The golden rule for longer trips to China is always to pack twice the skincare you need. With a crazy changing climate and European brands being wicked expensive, I went through product like crazy.
